Managing Diverse Teams Student’s s Name Institution Abstract The various diversities in an organization include different ages, personality, gender, education levels, religion, and cultural backgrounds. Gender-related challenges include sexual harassment and discrimination in decision making and leadership. Age-related problems include the conflict between the younger and older generations especially concerning communication. Mistrust between the ages is another issue, with the older generations regarding the young ones as disloyal, disrespectful, and with feelings of self-entitlement. There is also mistrust between employees from different cultural backgrounds. If diversity is managed appropriately it can lead to significant success for the organization as it leads to new skills and experiences.
